Meet Founder, Ian Hunter

Lime Education Consulting was founded by Ian Hunter to give ambitious businesses access to the international commercial capability they need to grow, without the cost and complexity of doing it all in-house.

Ian has over 25 years' experience in global commercial leadership, having held senior roles including Global Director, Sales Director, and Commercial Director at some of the world's leading education and technology companies, including Tes Global, Discovery Education, and RM Education. He has been responsible for driving growth across a wide range of products and services to schools, colleges, universities, and Ministries of Education worldwide.

Ian's network spans Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North America, with deep relationships across major membership organisations, government trade bodies, and industry groups. He is a regular speaker at international events on commercial strategy, market entry, and business development.

Today, Lime brings together a team of associates and consultants who extend that reach covering business development, marketing, legal, HR, and product management. The result is a flexible, senior-level growth capability that scales with your needs.

With over 40 years of experience in the EdTech industry, Steve has a deep-rooted understanding of the global education technology landscape. Starting his career in a local education authority, he transitioned to commercial roles, where he successfully sold technology products to governments, schools and institutions worldwide.

Fiona Longmore

Consultant

Qualified lawyer with decades of public and private education sector experience, with a focus on teacher training and development in the EdTech space. Areas of expertise include drafting and review of legal documents such as contracts, licensing agreements and policies, provision of advice on a wide range of governance and regulation issues and preparation of successful large-scale bids for government tenders.

Ryan Jones

Consultant

Ryan Jones is the Co-Founder of Teacher Recruit, an international teacher recruitment platform connecting schools with high-quality educators worldwide. With over 6 years of experience working with international schools, Ryan has helped schools across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia implement a wide range of education technology and service solutions, spanning recruitment, safeguarding, assessment, curriculum, wellbeing, cybersecurity, and school operations. Through this experience, he has built strong relationships with school leaders and groups across the international education sector, giving him a deep understanding of the challenges schools face and the solutions that can make a meaningful impact.
